About Me

My photo
Vanessa Davies
A graduate of the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Common Law, I am currently articling for Karen Reid, a defence counsel based in downtown Ottawa. During law school I interned with mobile game company Z2Live, based in Seattle, and the Centre for Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic (CIPPIC) in Ottawa, as well as Industry Canada and the Public Service Labour Relations Board. I have been an active arts advocate for over ten years and I also perform as an actor, poet, dancer, and singer. I co-hosted and co-produced CKCU's Friday Special Blend from 2008-2010. Prior to law school I worked for Hansard at the House of Commons and was a House of Commons Page in 2003-2004.
