It was a busy fall. With proroguement nigh, I am looking forward to getting back to working on resubmitting my Master's thesis for journal publication.
I submitted my law applications to seven schools in North America, so I should hear back in the Spring. I am hoping to specialize in Public International Law and/or Human Rights. With the applications under my belt, I am working on scholarship applications to offset the cost of law school.
I joined Amnesty International's RefNet in September and was pleased to assist with research on my first case over the holidays.

- A graduate of the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Common Law, I am currently articling for Karen Reid, a defence counsel based in downtown Ottawa. During law school I interned with mobile game company Z2Live, based in Seattle, and the Centre for Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic (CIPPIC) in Ottawa, as well as Industry Canada and the Public Service Labour Relations Board. I have been an active arts advocate for over ten years and I also perform as an actor, poet, dancer, and singer. I co-hosted and co-produced CKCU's Friday Special Blend from 2008-2010. Prior to law school I worked for Hansard at the House of Commons and was a House of Commons Page in 2003-2004.
